Decadent Hot Chocolate

2 c. milk
1 c. heavy cream
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

In a sauce pot, combine all ingredients over a medium heat. Cook stirring occasionally, until chips are melted. Serve with whipped cream.
